2. Summer workshops Beginning June 4, workshops will be offered to community patrons. Four workshops, each on Thursday morning from 9:30-11:00, will include sessions on file management, word processing, Internet, and one last session for question and answer
3. Info net Stephanie and Sofia discussed the proposed new loan rules for InfoNet. Stephanie will get clarification on how loan rules work for InfoNet.
4. Loan rule 78 Stephanie and Sofia discussed changes in loan rules 70 and 78. The handout showing the changes was passed out.
5. Annual report due dates Stephanie and Sofia hope to have their sections completed by May 14. Anne is to finish hers by June 1, and Leslie bu June 15.
6. UMS Strategic Plan Sharon passed out David Nutty’s revision of Strategic Direction 4.
7. CD on Sharon’s desk The CD turned out to be a typing tutor program, probably pertaining to Henry Carbone.
8. Databases We have lost access to CQ Researcher. ValueLine is slow.
9. Speakers The speakers keep disappearing from the Assisted Learning station. They are usually found upstairs.
10. Patrons Staff reported on a mother and daughter who bicker in the library, disturbing others. Staff discussed several problem patrons.
