2. Graduation Day hours: Tony will work from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. He will only allow viewing of the exhibit. He will take a head count every half hour.
3. Summer library hours: there will be no evening hours. Trang will work on Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm for the first 6 weeks of the summer session.
4. Memorial Day: Blake library will be closed. We will also be closed on July 4, 2004.

9. Maine Infonet Letter: Sofia generalized the contents of a letter she was emailing to Laura about some Maine infonet concerns. a) the loan period b) the need for consistency c) holding items locally for only 14 days.

3. Ariel software on serials workstation - needs to stay open, it shouldn’t be closed.
4. Move to new Archives Building - Dick Bouchard asked if the windows in the Archives current collection room will need to be uncovered. We said yes. We want to use that room as a staff meeting/lunch room. Our special collections room will stay where it is.
5. Library Director’s Meeting - Laura Gallucci reported that URSUS will be down on May 24 for 3 hours to partition the hard drives for Millennium Silver. There will be several new features including the ability to print circ notices through Millennium. And Laura will also be able to do management through Millennium instead of Telnet. FTP downloads will work better. This summer, Laura will redo all the determiner tables for all system libraries.
Leslie reported that some don’t like the meet me calls for cataloging, though the conversation at the last call went well. Laura should be the chair since she runs the meetings.

Elsa Nunez spoke to the library directors that she takes full responsibility for writing the draft of the strategic plan, but that others are trying to take credit. The Chancellor made a compromise with John Martin that the plan will be brought to the legislature in January.
