II. Visiting patrons/Maine Infonet: Maine Infonet will be represented by a Governing Board consisting of the Maine Library Commission and the University of Maine System. Laura is suppose to turn on the visiting patrons' feature in the near future but we will not be comfortable using it because of certain capabilities we think it does not have: e.i. is it going to be possible for other colleges to agree to put an ISIS hold on patrons with overdue charges?
III. Others:
A. Millennium: After the upgrade last week, we experienced many problems with tabbing and keyboard shortcut keys where these features were significantly impaired. Just got note from Laura that they're working to correct the problems.
B. Tony's Entertainment Awards books for Chuck Closser: Anne is to make a list of the titles with prices and report to Sharon before acquiring any of the titles.
C. Sharon shared that the doors for the new entrance should be in by mid-November.
Exhibit Area: Sofia would like the inside doors to the exhibit area removed because of the spaces they take inside the area where they limit the space and viewing of the exhibit.
D. The clock and mirror for the circulation area have been ordered.
E. Discussed weekend hours for the coming semester. Should we add more hours on Saturdays for the work-study student(s)? Stephanie mentioned that she might have 2 students working on weekends instead of one.
