2. There are still Library computers that need to be upgraded to the newest version of Millenium. Anne, Leslie, Asita and Sharon’s computers all need to be upgraded. It is on the X drive. The old version needs to be removed first.
3. The Traditional Music of Maine cassette is not in Special Collections. It will be put there.
4. Leslie and Sharon will be on vacation next week. Sofia will more than likely be out on Tuesday. Deb works this Sunday so she will be out at noon on Wednesday. The Library will only be open on Monday night. Will close at 4:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Nicki will more than likely be out on Wednesday.
5. Quiet signs have be posted. It seems to be working in some cases. Some signs are being taken and written on. More will be made. The quiet room and loud study area starting to be used.
6. Who can hand out search files? Sharon will ask Tamara at the Supervisor’s meeting on Wednesday. Leslie, Sharon and Sofia will be attending.
7. Sofia will be attending the Reference Meeting on January 6, most likely via Polycom in Presque Isle.
8. Several ideas were discussed about what to do with the “extra” money that is in the Library budget. Sofia mentioned Jstore. Sharon and Asita talked about the Bangor Daily News online. Lesie suggested asking faculty for current topics in their disciplines so more titles can be bought to add to our collection.
9. The “Myth of Liberal Media” dvd’s are missing. It may not have been checked out right. Sofia will look into getting rid of the beep when a barcode is scanned. Leslie suggested printing two receipts and having the students count and check off how many items are being checked out.
10. We discussed a spelling issue that one of the workstudy students is having. It might be more appropriate for this student to dust and face the shelves.
11. We discussed looking into a stand up computer station for the Pcounter computer. Students aren’t using the chair and it’s in the way. Nicki will look into different models and prices.
