    Friday-Sofia
  2. SPRING SEMESTER WEEKENDS - we will keep same rotation as this semester-Brenda will fill in calendar.
  3. DROP BOX - Sofia will e-mail Andy and ask him to relocate drop box near Bell Tower entrance. Will also ask to have drop box repainted and stencil BOOKS ONLY on side (patrons are putting CD’s & DVD’s in drop box) Once Andy does this, Brenda will contact Maurice Bard about continuing to put Bangor Daily news in drop box.
  4. DISC CLEANING AND REPAIR - library will be offering disc cleaning and repair services (Blue Ray is cleaning only) for $1(cleaning), $1.50(repair). It has not been advertised yet. This will be done by 2 work study students that have been trained with the machine or library staff. Discussed using stapled manila folders to put dropped off discs that would include form for patrons to sign. Leslie suggested including a section on the back of the form Deb created that would state we are not liable for discs that are not repairable, lost, or damaged while in our possession. Also include "items not picked up by the end of the semester will become property of Blake Library." We need to include contact information on the form. Deb suggested e-mailing patrons when their discs are ready for pick up. Could also include on manila folders place for work study students to include disc & patron information and also a place for the work study student to sign off when the task is completed. (form will be attached to folder – sofb)
  5. PROJECT GUTENBERG COLLECTION - Tim e-mailed and wanted to know if we want the 33,000 titles that were available through net library that are now available in EBSCO to have records in URSUS? Leslie said yes and Sofia will e-mail Tim and let him know.
  6. COMMUNITY PATRON USER ACCOUNT - Sofia had to disable a community patron user account after it had been reported by a work study student that he was seen viewing pornography. Sofia has spoken to the patron and enabled his account but has warned him he may not use computers upstairs, and if he is caught viewing pornography again, he will no longer be able to use our computers. Sofia put note on community patron record.
  7. PEOPLE WALKING AROUND IN SOCKS - It is law that people in public buildings must wear shoes and shirts. If we see people walking around in the library in their stocking feet ask them to put slippers or shoes on for their safety.
