Kimberly K. Newby, FNP-C, MSN (’10)
earned a RN to BSN degree at UMFK. Since then, she has earned a Master’s of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013 from Husson University. Kimberly passed her boards and started a new career at Sebasticook Family Doctors in Canaan, Maine. She provides primary care services to people of all ages. Hopefully, you will notice in the picture that she is proudly wearing her medallion from UMFK!
Loni Nadeau and family
Loni (Levesque) Nadeau (‘11) along with her husband, Jon, welcomed their beauti-
ful daughter, Briana Lynn, into the world in March 2013. Loni is employed by UMFK, where she works in distance education and just recently completed her first semester teaching a First Year Experience class on- campus. She is working towards a master’s degree in education and a certificate in online pedagogy through the University of Maine at Farmington. Loni also has been busy launch- ing a small side venture crafting baby accesso- ries with her sister-in-law. The Nadeau’s are proud to have made their home in Fort Kent and look forward to provide Briana with the same loving upbringing they both have had.
Brianne McGary (’11) has announced her engagement to Jeremy Fecteau (’12). Brianne graduated from UMFK with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Psychology and Jeremy graduated with an Associate in Criminal Justice. Brianne and Jeremy live in Old Town, Maine and will be married in October 2014.

Ashley and Darrin
Ashley (Hafford) Pelletier (’11) married Darrin Pelletier in December 2013. The couple is expecting a baby in May 2014. Ashley graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Rural Public Safety and an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. Since June 2013, she has been employed with Maine Pretrial Services, where she releases inmates on a supervised release who are required to comply with
bail conditions ordered by a judge. Ashley’s office is located at the Caribou Courthouse. She also works at the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton a few days a week. Ashley and Darrin bought a house in Fort Kent in August 2011 and have been residing there since.
Ashley Law
Ashley (Boucher) Law (’12) earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at UMFK. Ashley works in Minot, North Dakota, as a night shift charge nurse on a floor of nurses, just about all who are new grads living far from home. The hospital is looking for many new employees and loves new grads. After having been married for two years, Ashley is expecting her first baby, due in March.
